THE COMRADELY CARE SYSTEM™

Caregiving doesn’t have to be lonely or chaotic.

That compass has a name,

here's how it works.

A compassionate, step by step

way through caregiving.

Caring for a loved one touches every part of our lives and at times, it can feel overwhelming and very isolating.

Giving yourself grace creates peace. Peace becomes the strength to keep moving forward. The road isn't always smooth and sometimes it's messy, sometimes it flows, but when you follow your own compass, you'll always arrive exactly where you need to be.

The idea for Comradely Care was born from a moment with Menna’s own mother: her mother’s connection to her "comrades" those who supported her through illness.

The idea that real support comes from friends, relatives, and even strangers who are walking, or have walked, the same caregiving path. That idea became The Comradely Care System™.

THE COMRADELY CARE SYSTEM™

01

Observe

without judgement

Notice what is happening, in your loved one and in yourself, before reacting. Seeing clearly without rushing to judge or fix is where good care begins.

02

Ground

with orientation

Steady your own nervous system and get your bearings. You cannot pour from an empty, frantic cup, so we start by finding solid ground.

03

Communicate

with clarity

Find words for needs, boundaries, and decisions — with family, with clinicians, and with the person you are caring for.

04

Plan

with understanding

Turn an emergency into a plan. Map roles, resources, and the days ahead so nothing rests on memory or luck alone.

05

Action

with purpose

Move from intention to coordinated action — knowing what needs doing, and who is doing it, so the weight is shared.

06

Maintain

with grace

Sustain care over the long haul and protect your own health while doing so. Caregiving is a journey, not a sprint.
